How Does the Direct Messaging Feature Work on My Account?

A messaging feature is available within your My Mirror account, which allows you to direct message your psychologist directly through your portal.

To access this function, please log on to your My Mirror account. Located on your dashboard, where you can view any up comings sessions, you have the option to 'Send A Message', which can be found next to book a session. Alternatively, there is a 'Mail' icon in the top right hand corner, that houses all messages between yourself and your psychologist. Here you can type and send a message directly to your psychologist.

You will receive a pop up notification on your profile when your psychologist has sent you a message, and you will also be notified via your mail icon that you have 1 unread message.

*Please note, My Mirror psychologists do have the option to have this feature switched off.

If you have logged on to your My Mirror account and the 'Send A Message' feature is not available, this will indicate that your psychologist does not currently have this feature switched on for use. Or if a speech bubble appears, this will indicate your psychologist has marked this feature unavailable, which is used for leave, etc. In this case please reach out to the customer service team, who can reach out to your psychologist directly [email protected].

As stated on the right hand side of the messaging tool, we do have messaging guidelines in place, in which you must adhere to in order to utilise this feature.
