For Mobile Users

1. Close Other Apps: Ensure all other apps are closed, especially those that might be using your microphone, such as music or video call apps.

2. Allow Microphone Access: Go to your device settings and confirm that the browser or app has permission to access your microphone.

3. Check Microphone Status: If the microphone icon has a dash through it, your microphone is muted. Click the microphone icon to unmute it.

4. Test Your Microphone: Speak into the microphone - If it’s working, you’ll see the volume bars flickering under the microphone icon.

5. Check Your Speaker: Click 'Test' under the speaker settings - If you hear the test tone, your sound is working properly.

6. Device Test: You can also visit My Mirror Device Test to check your setup.

For Desktop Users

1. Close Other Programs: Shut down any programs or tabs that might be using your microphone, such as Skype or Zoom.

2. Browser Permissions: Click the padlock icon next to your browser’s search bar and ensure microphone access is set to “Allow” in “Site Settings.”

3. Check Microphone Status: If the microphone icon has a dash through it, your microphone is muted. Click the microphone icon to unmute it.

4. Test Your Sound: Speak into the microphone - If it’s working, you’ll see a flickering volume bar appear.

5. Check Your Speaker: Click 'Test' under the speaker settings - If you hear the test tone, your sound is working.

6. Device Test: You can also visit My Mirror Device Test to check your setup.
