Your My Mirror account includes a direct messaging feature that lets you send messages to your psychologist through your portal.
How to access messaging
Log in to your My Mirror account and head to your dashboard. You'll find a Send a message option next to the book a session button. Alternatively, use the mail icon in the top right-hand corner, which houses all messages between you and your psychologist. From here you can type and send a message directly.
Message notifications
When your psychologist sends you a message, you'll receive a pop-up notification on your profile, and your mail icon will show that you have an unread message.
If messaging is unavailable
Please note that psychologists have the option to turn this feature off. If the Send a message option isn't visible when you log in, this means your psychologist doesn't currently have messaging switched on.
If a speech bubble icon appears instead, this indicates your psychologist has marked the feature as temporarily unavailable, for example during leave. In either case, please reach out to our support team at [email protected] and we'll get in touch with your psychologist on your behalf.

Please note that messaging guidelines are in place, visible on the right-hand side of the messaging tool. You'll need to follow these guidelines to use the feature.
