If you are eligible for Medicare rebates through a Mental Health Treatment Plan, you can submit your claim online through your Medicare account after your psychology session.
Steps to claim your Medicare rebate online
Sign in to your MyGov account and open your linked Medicare account.
Select “Make a claim” and follow the prompts.
Enter your session details, including your psychologist’s provider number and Medicare item number. These details can be found on the paid reciept emailed to you by My Mirror after your session.
Upload your My Mirror receipt once your payment has been successfully processed.
Review your information and submit your Medicare claim.
Medicare rebates are typically processed directly into your nominated bank account.
