Before raising a support request, run through this quick checklist to make sure your setup is ready for your session.
1. Browser compatibility
Make sure you're using a supported browser such as Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Microsoft Edge. Unsupported browsers may cause connectivity or performance issues.
See our article on what web browsers does My Mirror support? for a full list by device.
2. Permissions
Check that your browser has permission to access your camera, microphone and speakers. Without these, you may have difficulty being seen or heard during your session. You can adjust these settings in your browser's privacy or site settings.
3. Stable internet connection
A reliable internet connection is important for a smooth session. Where possible, use a wired connection for the best stability. If using Wi-Fi, make sure you're close to your router and that the signal is strong. Avoid areas with interference or multiple devices connected to the same network.
4. Close other applications
Close any apps or browser tabs that may be using your camera, microphone or internet connection. This includes video conferencing tools such as Skype or Teams, and any streaming services. This helps make sure your device's resources are fully available for your session.
