At My Mirror, we’re committed to making mental health support more accessible for those managing eating disorders. If you have an Eating Disorder Plan (EDP) and a referral from your GP or specialist, you may be eligible for Medicare-subsidised psychology sessions.
How to Use Your Eating Disorder Plan for Online Therapy
1. Obtain a Referral – Visit your GP to assess your eligibility and set up an EDP with a referral to a psychologist.
2. Send Us Your Referral – Email your EDP referral to our Customer Service team at [email protected].
3. We Take Care of the Rest – Once we receive your referral, we’ll set up your account to apply the Medicare rebates to eligible sessions.
Important Information
An EDP provides access to up to 40 subsidised psychology sessions and 20 dietetic sessions over a 12-month period.
Sessions must be delivered by providers registered with Medicare.
Your plan will include regular reviews to continue care and access additional sessions if needed.
With My Mirror’s online therapy platform, you can access professional support from the comfort of your home, helping you prioritise your mental health without added stress.
