If you are having trouble connecting to the internet, try turning your Wi-Fi router and modem off and on again.
- Unplug the router and modem's power cords from the power outlet for 15 seconds.
- Plug the power cords back in.
- Check that all cords and cables are secure at both ends.
- Wait a few minutes, until the lights on the modem and router are working right. (See the device manual or manufacturer's support site).
If the lights aren't working right, you could have an issue with the modem, router, or internet connection.
Contact the network administrator or your Internet Service Provider. For example, there could be a service outage, or they could need to reset your connection.
To test how fast your internet connection is, simply go to iinet. It is recommended to ensure that no one else is using your internet connection at the same time and that bandwidth is not being used by other applications on your device. The minimum requirements for a “good experience” with video & audio are: download: 1.5 Mbps; upload: 1.5 Mbps. You can use our website with slower internet connection but the video might not be as clear and you may need to turn off the video to prioritise the audio.
