My Mirror accepts Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) referrals and supports eligible veterans in accessing online psychology appointments with AHPRA-registered psychologists.
If you have a valid DVA referral from your GP, your psychology sessions may be fully funded through DVA, with no Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP/MHCP) required.
How do I use my DVA referral with My Mirror?
1. Obtain a DVA referral
Visit your GP and request a DVA referral for psychology services.
2. Add your DVA details
Log in to your My Mirror account and add your DVA number within the Medicare section of your profile.
3. Send us your referral
Email your DVA referral to [email protected].
4. We'll prepare your account
Once we receive your referral, our team will apply the required DVA billing arrangements to your account and help connect you with a psychologist who accepts DVA referrals.
How many psychology sessions does a DVA referral cover?
A standard DVA referral provides access to up to 12 fully funded psychology sessions.
If additional sessions are required, you will need to return to your GP for a new referral.
Can I access online psychology through DVA?
Yes. My Mirror allows eligible DVA clients to access psychology appointments online from anywhere in Australia, making it easier to connect with support without the need to travel.
